This fantastic high relief silver coin titled “Hell” with vintage print color and satined antique finish is a tribute to the 3D projection style street art from Kurt Wenner.
Kurt Wenner, born in Ann Arbor Michigan USA, is an artist best known for his realistic street painting and chalk murals that utilize a 3D projection call anamorphosis. Anamorphosis is a distorted projection that requires the viewer to occupy a specific vantage point, use special devices, or both in combination to observe a recognizable image. The technique is used in painting, photography, sculpture, toys and movie special effects.
This legal tender release of Niue is the first issue in a new series “3D Pavement Illusions” that is produced in cooperation with the artist.
Limited mintage to only 250 pcs worldwide.
